Maintenance Assistant Richland Bean Blossom Healthcare Center - 3.8 Ellettsville, IN Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication English Full Job Description HutsonWood is looking for a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents, team members, and guests. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and assist with fire and disaster preparedness drills. Inspect and maintain building systems, equipment, emergency power systems, resident call systems, hot water, ventilation, and other essential systems. Assist with pest control and general safety programs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Follow OSHA, safety, and facility policies and procedures. Assist with regulatory surveys and inspections. Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, team members, and guests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent education and experience. Previous maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred. Valid driver's license preferred based on facility requirements. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented. Must be able to read, speak, and understand English as necessary to safely perform the job. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 75 pounds or more . This is an active, hands-on position that may involve exposure to medical equipment and individuals with illness.
