Job Description

Under general direction of the Plant Manager, this position is involved in all facets of the maintenance and repair of equipment to assure efficient mechanical operation of equipment and related apparatus. General duties include performance of preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment as well as inspections and recordkeeping. In addition, this position handles customer relations and emergency call-outs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform maintenance and repair equipment to assure efficient mechanical operations of equipment and related apparatus. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment. Conduct inspections on mechanical operations and apparatus and maintain records of inspections completed. Required to use proper techniques and handling of maintenance and repair. Complete scheduled, unscheduled and emergency work orders. Follow proper conduct, work procedures, and safety within the workplace. Follow OSHA Regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION,EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Minimum high school degree education and demonstrate the ability to work at this level based on past work experience. Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Familiar with basic OSHA stands and safety practices. Maintenance certification, preferred or comparable work experience
