Lawrence, KS Job Details Seasonal | Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Company vehicle operation High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description Seasonal FT (20-40 hours per week) Essential Functions Maintains the facility's appearance by picking up trash and repairing/replacing broken items Works on structural repairs and/or remodeling projects in agency buildings Provides ground maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, raking and disposal of leaves, etc. Reviews agency vehicles on a regular basis for necessary maintenance and assists with scheduling oil changes and car washes Completes general building upkeep tasks such as replacing light bulbs, switch and outlet cover plates, light globes, smoke alarm batteries, window screens, curtain rods, and heating/air filters Assists with large and long term cleaning projects Performs repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier and painting tasks Repairs and treats structures such as showers, toilets, floors, sinks, walls, carpets and roofs Performs minor repairs, troubleshoots and adjusts locks on cabinets, doors, closets and desks Changes filters on ventilating, heating, and air conditioning units Moves and assists in transportation of furniture and equipment Sets up and breaks down cubicle partitions Sets up tables and chairs, etc. for meetings Creates a safe client environment by performing all required security and safety procedures Education, Experience, and Licensure Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Requires one year of related experience in general building and grounds maintenance Requires the ability to operate basic equipment, machinery and other standard maintenance/upkeep tools Must possess a valid state Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy.
