OVERVIEW
Clubhouse Maintenance is responsible for assisting in the upkeep and repair of the clubhouse, pool, and all buildings within the club's property to ensure a high-quality experience for members and guests. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, operating equipment, and supporting the overall maintenance team in preserving the pristine condition of the club's facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clubhouse, Buildings & Facility Maintenance:
Assist with general repairs and upkeep of all club buildings, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, lighting, roofing, and other structural systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and workspaces. Assist in minor renovations or remodeling projects as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and members. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations related to building maintenance.
Pool Maintenance:
Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps and heating systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards for pool operation and cleanliness. Address any pool-related repairs or operational concerns in a timely manner.
Event & Operational Support:
Ensure facilities are in top condition for events. Perform routine maintenance on club pathways, parking lots, and outdoor lighting. Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and order replacements as needed. Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers and emergency lighting. Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, including winterization and storm preparation.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined in this position description, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor. These duties will be within the scope of the employee's position and will align with the needs of the Club. The assignment of additional tasks ensures operational efficiency and supports the overall goals of the department. Employees are expected to be flexible and adaptable in fulfilling these responsibilities as directed.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Previous experience in facility maintenance, building repair, or related field is preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Experience with pool maintenance and water treatment preferred.
COMPETENCIES
Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on event schedule. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
