Manage and maintain the grounds and facilities and set standards.Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work flexible hours depending on time of year (see table below) 2. Respond to emergencies after hours when needed. 3. Manage routine maintenance and repairs of all buildings and equipment.4. Ensure camp is maintained to a standard showable to guests at all times, with particular emphasis on:a. buildings - maintenance and some cleaningb.caring for lawns/fields:
mowing, seeding, fertilizingc. painting and stainingd. gardening and landscapinge. pathsf. water lines and basic plumbingg. snow removal, safety and plowingh. drainagei. working with contractors on special projects/repairsj. building and improvement projects such as fencing, refinishing cabins, building benches, etc. 5. Basic maintenance on camp vehicles.6. Supervise local maintenance volunteers including Ministry work groups.7. Attend weekly staff meeting.8. In conjunction with Hospitality Assistant, act as primary Hospitality Manager anytime directors are away (6 weeks in winter, other weekends or weeks throughout the year)9. Any other reasonable duties requested by director. Physical Demands of thePosition:
1. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.2. Able to carry / climb a ladder 3. Able to climb up and down stairs4. Able to have full range of motion extending your arms and able to bend up and down without restriction 5. Able to stand for a period of time6. Drive a vehicle without restrictions7. Shovel snow / sweep / dig for extended periods of timeJob Requirements:

- Live onsite or near the retreat (must live onsite during the Director's absence)
Education/Experience:
First aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain one- TCI certification within six months of employment
