The Opportunity We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Site Superintendent to join our Facilities team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, cleanliness, and general upkeep of assigned residential properties. You'll work both independently and alongside a collaborative team to keep rental units, common areas, buildings, and grounds safe, functional, and welcoming for our residents. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, mechanically inclined, resourceful, and takes pride in a job well done. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance and repairs in rental units and common areas Respond to work orders and resident maintenance concerns in a timely, courteous, and professional manner Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming common areas, including public bathrooms, laundry facilities, and meeting spaces Perform general building, exterior, and grounds maintenance Identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues before they become larger problems Work collaboratively with the Site Superintendent team to maintain consistent quality standards across Hearthway properties Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, coworkers, vendors, and other members of the Hearthway team Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues Follow established safety procedures, policies, and standards Represent Hearthway's mission and values in every aspect of your work What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is dependable, responsible, and takes pride in their work Is a proactive, independent thinker who can assess a problem and find a solution Has a strong work ethic and follows through on commitments Works well independently while also being a supportive team member Communicates respectfully and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds Approaches challenges with a positive, creative, and judgment-free mindset Demonstrates strong ethical standards and professionalism Is comfortable working with diverse populations and socioeconomic backgrounds Has basic computer skills, including email, internet, and Microsoft Office Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Can read, write, and communicate effectively in English Physical Requirements This position is hands-on and requires the ability to: Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds Climb ladders and perform work at various heights Bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces Stand and walk for extended periods Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and weather conditions Why Hearthway? Pay:
