Street Worker I Town of Chestertown, Maryland Pay:

$20.00-$22.00 per hour The Town of Chestertown is seeking a dependable and hardworking Street Worker I to join our team. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who takes pride in maintaining the Town's public spaces. This position performs a variety of outdoor maintenance and repair work, including:

• Street and road maintenance and repairs
• Snow and ice removal
• Grass, tree, and landscaping maintenance
• Storm drain cleaning
• Street sign installation and maintenance
• Asphalt, concrete, and construction work
• Loading and unloading materials
• Trash and debris removal
• Operation of trucks, power equipment, and hand tools
• Other Public Works duties as assigned Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• CDL Preferred
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Construction, maintenance, landscaping, or public works experience preferred Benefits
