Position Summary An established industrial lubrication systems company is seeking a dependable and motivated Industrial Maintenance and Installation Helper to assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial lubrication and fluid-handling systems. This is an industrial equipment position—not an automobile mechanic position. The work involves industrial pumps, tanks, piping, hose reels, and lubrication systems installed at commercial and industrial facilities. Employees report to the Glen Burnie location and travel with the installation team to customer job sites. The ideal candidate has relevant mechanical experience, is comfortable using hand and power tools, and is willing to learn. Essential Job Functions Assist technicians with industrial equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs. Help install and service pumps, tanks, piping, hose reels, and lubrication equipment. Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment. Use hand and power tools safely and correctly. Measure, cut, assemble, and secure piping and other materials as directed. Assist with troubleshooting mechanical equipment. Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, service vehicles, and shop areas. Follow all company, customer, and job-site safety requirements. Travel to customer locations with the installation team. Perform other related industrial installation and maintenance duties. Required Qualifications Relevant mechanical experience or skills involving industrial maintenance, pumps, piping, plumbing, construction, or equipment installation. Experience using basic hand and power tools. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements. Dependable, punctual, responsible, and able to follow instructions. Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team. Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and installation procedures. Comfortable working in shops, garages, warehouses, and industrial facilities. Ability to travel to customer job sites during the workday.
