Manufacturer seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist the supervisor and technicians with troubleshooting, machine diagnostics, and simple repairs. The assistant would also perform routine maintenance, record problems, and escalate major breakdowns to supervisor. This is a Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm shift with a starting hourly rate based upon experience. The right candidate would have the ability to tell when something is wrong, have mechanical aptitude and experience and be able to take direction. Job Requirements Besides mechanical knowledge and ability, looking for:

• Some previous work-related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required if possessing appropriate skills.
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, and back such as lifting and handling pails and or boxes of product.
• Job requires standing on feet and or walking throughout the entire work shift.
• The ability to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch twist or reach out with your body and arms requiring flexibility.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
