In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of facilities and rental properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal operation of water supply and drainage systems. Carry out carpentry tasks including repairs to interior structures, doors, windows, and painting to maintain building aesthetics. Operate hand tools and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for various maintenance tasks. Lead or assist with welding projects and mechanical repairs requiring specialized skills. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including schematics documentation and work orders. Support customer service efforts by addressing tenant maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Assist with building interior maintenance projects such as painting and fixtures installation or repair. Contribute to the upkeep of safety standards through proper use of tools and adherence to protocols during all maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance, repair operations (MRO), or related fields with a focus on residential or commercial properties. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams effectively. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as electrical work involving electrical equipment repair. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, hand tools, welding techniques, and maintenance painting is preferred. Knowledge of building interior maintenance practices including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and facilities equipment upkeep. Excellent communication skills in English to interact with tenants and team members clearly and professionally. Leadership qualities for guiding junior team members or coordinating complex projects when needed. Ability to use testing devices such as ohmmeters accurately for troubleshooting electrical issues.
