Public Service Maintenance Worker B- 076622 Job Description Responsibilities Required Tasks Snow and ice operation
- driving vehicles and equipment in the application and removal of snow and ice
- including moving snow and materials, and maintaining equipment.
Perform other duties:
Erect, install, or repair guardrails, road shoulders, berms, highway markers, warning signals, and highway lighting using hand tools and power tools. Inspect, clean, and repair drainage systems, bridges, tunnels, and other structures. Perform a wide variety of duties when not operating equipment. Apply paint to surfaces. Install fencing or other barriers. Mark reference points on construction materials Other related duties and tasks as assigned. Qualifications Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Moderate-term on-the-job training. CDL License with a Class "B" and airbrake endorsement Safe and acceptable driving record- No more than 7 points on driving record.
Other Employment Requirements:
CDL License and a Class "A and N" Endorsement within six (6) months of hire- (Management reserves the right to extend time frame.
