Job Description
Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance, and repairs of various transportation infrastructure, street signs, parks, and stormwater conveyances, Job Overview This is a skilled work position involving the maintenance and repair of the city-owned streets, trails, sidewalks, parks, and stormwater systems. Knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance a plus. Hours are 7:00AM- 3:00PM, M-F including an on call rotation. Fills in for supervisor, when assigned. Duties Include but not limited to: Repair and maintenance of city asphalt, concrete, and gravel roads. Conduct routine maintenance of city park facilities and grounds. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) . Operates light and heavy equipment. Riding mowers, skid-steers, mini-ex, etc. Respond promptly to call-outs, when assigned. Forestry/ tree removal, street sign maintenance, storm water system maintenance. Collaborates well with other departments. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintains a clean work environment. See full job description at our city website for more details. Requirements High School Diploma, or equivalent Possess a valid Missouri Class A Commercial Driver's License. Ability to pass drug and alcohol screens. Ability to be on-call rotation, evenings and weekends, work extended hours on occasionally. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
