As a Maintenance Parts Assistant, you're the "behind-the-scenes hero" who helps keep our pasta plant running smoothly. Whether you're organizing inventory, tracking critical spare parts, receiving deliveries, or helping maintenance technicians find exactly what they need, your work plays a key role in preventing downtime and keeping production moving. This role is about more than managing parts. It's about supporting the team that keeps our equipment running, solving inventory challenges before they become problems, and helping ensure our maintenance shop is organized, efficient, and ready for action. Every bolt, bearing, belt, and motor you help manage contributes to the quality products our customers enjoy every day.

200 NW. Victoria Drive Lee's Summit, MO 64086 Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $30.00 per hour

Principal Accountabilities Capable of maintaining MRO Purchasers responsibilities in their absence as necessary. Create new locations for new spare parts when needed. Enter all parts in our eMaint system with proper locations, manufactures & supplier part numbers, descriptions, and tie to related assets. Interface with cataloging engineers regarding the parts catalog and technical specifications of parts. Implement, uphold, and hold others accountable to the parts ordering process. Order/Restock the parts room, keep organized, and keep a running inventory, which will allow all members to easily locate parts as needed. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly in verbal contact with others and constantly works face-to-face with and around others. These are not all the duties, since this department is a support role, we will be expected to support all departments as needed. Knowledge & Skills Must have a valid driver's license with a good record to pick up and drop off parts using company van. Knowledge of eMaint CMMS software. Ability to read and interpret typewritten print and spare part manuals. Ability to use a computer with Microsoft Office tools. Ability to drive a forklift and scissor lift for receiving and putting away parts. Strong work ethic with little supervision. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience & Education High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a specialized training school is desirable. Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in parts management. Industrial Maintenance parts familiarity. Physical Requirements/Working Environment Sense of Urgency May be required to carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds. Required to work in hot environments. Required to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, squat and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts parts and equipment up to 50 pounds.
