A Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Chief Maintenance Engineer in the overall maintenance of the hotel's building and grounds and the operation of its equipment and mechanical/electrical systems. Additionally, this position is responsible for the overall safety and security of the hotel and its associates Responsibilities Completing maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders to prioritize and schedule work assignments (e.g. painting, drywall, door adjustments, minor plumbing and electrical work, HVAC maintenance, etc.) Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning property systems and equipment, including electrical/mechanical Assisting in inspecting property to identify potential and current needs and acting on those needs Maintaining and upkeep of the outside of the property (e.g. trash removal, maintenance of cigarette butt removal, cleaning of parking lot, leaf blowing, maintenance of flowerpots and boxes, etc.) Maintaining the building exterior if not serviced by a contractor (e.g. snow removal, lawn care, painting, lights, etc.) For a full job description and interview consideration go to https://qualityhospitality.net/careers/
