About This Position Property Assistants work with Wildwoods Property Manager to complete maintenance and housekeeping tasks in order to maintain clean facilities in a good working order. Individuals may be hired with a focus on housekeeping, maintenance, or both. Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist Property Managers with housekeeping and/or maintenance tasks as directed, including:
Cleaning of camp facilities as scheduled, including bathrooms and shower housePainting and minor exterior workMinor construction tasksToilet repairs and composting toilet maintenanceOther tasks according to trainingCollect and dispose of trash and compostMaintain a high level of safetyOperate tools and equipment safely according to trainingOnly use tools and equipment when directed by Property ManagersAct as a full participant of the Wildwood CommunityAbide by all Wildwood and Mass Audubon policies and proceduresAssist with Kitchen and Dining Hall tasks when assignedPerform other duties as assignedQualifications At Mass Audubon, our highest priority is finding the best candidate for the job. Required qualifications as per New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services regulations, American Camp Association standards and
Mass Audubon Policy:
At least 18 years of ageHold current FirstAid and CPR certifications or participate in Mass Audubon provided training to obtain certification prior to the beginning of camp Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbsWilling to be outdoors for several hours per day in most weather conditions Ability to effectively interact with others, including children, in camps youth-centered environmentAbility to adapt to changes in schedule and work assignmentWilling and able to use golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, hand tools, power tools, paint brushes, cleaning supplies, landscaping toolsDesired Qualifications Prior maintenance and/or construction experienceValid drivers licenseWork Schedule This is a seasonal position beginning in June 2026 and continuing through August 31, 2026. Additional hours outside of this time frame may be available. Part-time position available. Property staff will be expected to work weekend days.

Compensation includes lunch daily, with breakfast available most days. This is not a benefits eligible position. Other Requirements Employees must successfully complete a CORI and SORI Background Check and a Motor Vehicle Record (if applicable) is required.
All Mass Audubon Camp Staff undergo mandatory training prior to interacting with campers.
Training includes:
Natural History, Lesson Planning, Behavior Management, Games, and more.
