The Open Door of NJ is a statewide service provider currently serving individuals in Ocean County with developmental disabilities and their families. We have a number of facilities including Group Homes and a Day Program building. We are looking for a reliable person with knowledge and experience in repairs and general maintenance. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, notices problems before they become bigger issues, and is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance tasks. Reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help are essential. Responsibilities include :

• Must be 21 Years and older
• Performing general repairs.

For example:

replace/install faucets, door locks, window blinds, lighting fixtures, hanging shelves, etc.

• Complete small projects
• Small painting jobs
• Preventative maintenance
• Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts

DRIVING CONSUMERS

back and forth to the sites (May) be required when needed.

Requirements :

• High School graduate
• Valid NJ Driver's License
• Criminal and Drug Testing Required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb a ladder/stairs
• Good communication skills
• Be open to learning
• Dependable and flexible
