The Maintenance Assistant supports the Maintenance Director in ensuring the facility, equipment, and grounds are safe, functional, and well-kept. Ideal candidates are reliable, have basic maintenance and repair skills, and enjoy being part of a team that makes a difference every day.

Responsibilities:

Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents Help maintain clean, safe grounds and common areas Support in emergency repairs and disaster preparedness efforts Follow safety procedures and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Prior maintenance or handyman experience in a healthcare or similar setting a plus Basic knowledge of tools and equipment Ability to lift, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods Strong communication and teamwork skills Must pass background check and meet health requirements
