Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance and Grounds Associate to ensure the proper upkeep and appearance of our facilities. This role involves general building maintenance and groundskeeping responsibilities to create a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks on a daily basis. Duties Perform general building maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are in good working order. Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify repair needs or safety hazards. Maintain outdoor grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, planting, and trimming to uphold aesthetic standards. Assist with minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed. Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored. Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency repairs. Keep records of maintenance activities and report issues to management. Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Prior experience in building maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems is advantageous. Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable work ethic with a proactive approach to maintaining facility standards. On Call rotation.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
