Beth El Synagogue in New Rochelle is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Maintenance person to join our team. As a Maintenance person, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of our facility. Your efforts will contribute to providing a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors.

Job Description:

Part time / Evening Maintenance Position Available The responsibilities of the maintenance person shall include but are not limited to: Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures Empty trash bins and recycling containers, ensuring proper waste disposal Clean and maintain windows, glass surfaces, and transparent fixtures Maintain floors through tasks such as waxing, polishing, and buffing Address minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing leaky faucets Replenish restroom and common area supplies as needed Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment Respond to emergency situations such as spills or accidents Communicate with the facility manager to report any issues, request supplies or provide updates on completed tasks Stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks Capable of working alone or as part of a team Ability to understand and speak English required

Pay :

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Evening shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
