$20.00 per hour Join Our Team! The Willows at Ramapo Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Aide to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. As a Maintenance Aide, you will assist with the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner Assist with painting, patching, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as assigned Maintain the grounds, parking areas, and outdoor spaces Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control standards Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and special projects Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations

Qualifications:

Previous maintenance experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance Ability to operate hand and power tools safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
