Full-time Floor Maintenance Technician Rate:
$16.60 - $19.06/hour (depending on experience)

Monday-Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm Northgate Health Care Facility is seeking a dependable Floor Maintenance Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. In this role, you'll be responsible for preserving and protecting floor surfaces throughout the facility while supporting overall environmental services operations. RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweep, mop, and maintain floor surfaces throughout the facility Perform floor stripping, buffing, waxing, and refinishing as needed Clean and shampoo carpets and rugs Complete light window, wall, and surface cleaning duties Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment Follow all workplace safety procedures and infection control standards Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents and visitors Perform additional housekeeping and floor care duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Previous floor maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of floor care equipment, cleaning products, and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Respect for resident privacy, dignity, and rights Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented Ability to perform physical tasks and remain active throughout the workday
