Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our apartment buildings. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and infrastructure. Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, and painting. Carry out carpentry tasks including maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and interior building upkeep. Maintain plumbing systems by repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures as needed. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including documentation and work logs. Provide excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance or related fields with knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building interior maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques and residential painting is desirable. Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear instructions and documentation. Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects and working at heights if necessary.
