Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to the maintenance and repair of parks, recreational facilities, and buildings. Supports all park district departments, programs, events and businesses. Job requires choice and application of clearly prescribed procedures and methods to resolve problems with the use of judgement in the analysis of surrounding facts and circumstances. Proceeds alone on many tasks, referring questionable cases to a supervisor. The job requires weekend and/or evening work. Employee must demonstrate customer service excellence and perform functions in accordance with the APD's adopted policies and mission statement. This position requires applicant to work evenings and weekends.
