Job Description
Overview The sales internship includes a hands-on experience with various assignments within Touchstone Investments that includes internal sales, marketing, data, research and technology. Responsibilities include working in our CRM, campaign tracking, technology testing, and competitive data analysis, and working within our institutional team on lead generation. In addition, this associate will receive training in sales and marketing distribution, product development and other areas of the Touchstone Fund Family. Finally, as a part of Western & Southern Financial Group, this associate will be involved in larger internship activities, both virtual and on campus, to help them develop their skills and network across the Western & Southern enterprise.
Responsibilities What you will do:
SalesPage & Salesforce Initiatives- Various assignments working within Touchstone's CRM tools to help enhance the sales experience for both the internal and external sales associate. Within Salesforce, working on special projects for onboarding Salesforce within our retail channel. Campaign/Event Tracking
- Working in the SalesPage CRM to track post-event activity and sales and provide impact reporting to sales management in a timely manner. Marketing
- Supporting the Strategic Marketing Department in providing financial professional lists to each territory before a large communication goes out. Working within the marketing group to setup schedules and a timeline of distributions. Investment Strategy Specialist
- Working closely with our investment strategy specialist team to help with competitive analysis on mutual funds and supporting the population of ticker symbols to build for future opportunity for our sales group. Institutional Channel
- Leveraging financial professional data through a third-party vendor, building out Salesforce to help with uncovering leads for the institutional team to expand their sales efforts into more RIAs and banks.
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior
- Required Strong organizational skills
- Required Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Required Ability to work independently and a self-starter
- Required Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize projects
- Required Strong interest in Financial Services industry and sales
- Preferred Computer skills in Microsoft Office products
- Required Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems skills
