This position is intended to grow into the maintenance supervisor position with time and training.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Assistant supports the Maintenance Manager in the daily upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all country club facilities. This role helps ensure buildings, amenities, and equipment are maintained in a safe, functional, and professional condition for members, guests, and staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of clubhouse facilities, restrooms, locker rooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical tasks
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and inspections
• Support event setup, breakdown, and facility repairs as needed
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with HVAC, pool, irrigation, or mechanical systems when trained
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage rooms
• Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or repair needs to the Maintenance Manager
• Follow all safety regulations, procedures, and club policies
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful experience in the following capacities: o Previous facilities, building maintenance, or trade experience preferred o Basic working knowledge of general maintenance practices o Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team o Valid driver's license preferred o Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
