Maintenance Assistant Full-Time 2p-10:30pm Mount Alverna Village Parma, OH Mount Alverna Village, part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community located in Parma, Ohio. We are a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/ long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! We love our Staff!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete mechanical, building and grounds maintenance Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting Appliance and equipment repairs Technology installations HVAC, Small engine repair, and/or welding experience is a plus. All other duties as assigned.

Required skills and qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent 1-2 years of Maintenance Experience Preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Trade school and HVAC certification Preferred Must have clean driving record in order to be insured Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Must enjoy working with the senior population Great attendance Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed Must be reliable, energetic and self-motivated who truly enjoys working with the senior population
