Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance:
This includes tasks like painting, cleaning, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.Groundskeeping:
Maintaining the appearance of the community, including mowing, edging, raking, tree trimming, and leaf removal.Inspections:
Regularly checking properties and common areas for maintenance needs and safety issues.Resident Requests:
Addressing and resolving maintenance requests from residents.Refurbish Homes:
Make ready homes for new tenants including laying flooring, painting, cleaning, roof repairs, light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.Skills and Qualifications:
General Maintenance Skills:
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.Landscaping:
Experience with lawn care equipment and landscaping techniques.Troubleshooting:
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with various systems and appliances.Time Management:
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently. Physical Demands/Work Environment- Must be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time, stand, bend, stoop, and climb ladders. Frequently work with loud power equipment and work outside in any weather.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor daily.
- Prior Maintenance or landscaping experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
