JOB SUMMA RY

The Maintenance Assistant performs essential preventative maintenance and repair duties for Agency buildings and grounds. As a dedicated partner to our staff and clients, you will ensure our environment is safe, functional, and welcoming. This role requires a problem solver who acts with integrity, taking ownership of the physical spaces that support our community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Skilled Craftsmanship Execute carpentry and building repairs as assigned, including furniture, cabinets, and partitions. As Builders of our environment, we install doors, locks, and hardware with an eye for Exceptional quality.

Facility Stewardship :

Maintain playground equipment and perform building weatherization and painting. We strive for Exceeding Expectations to ensure safe, high-quality, and welcoming spaces for those we serve.

Outdoor Environment:

Act as a dedicated Ally to our facilities by pruning, mowing, and installing landscaping materials, ensuring our physical Connections to the community are well-maintained.

Resource Management:

Estimate material costs and coordinate with the Superintendent to prepare purchase orders. We value Accountable team members who manage Agency resources with Honesty, Trust, and financial Responsibility.

Preventative Maintenance :

Perform weekly inspections of Agency vehicles to prevent costly repairs and maintain up-to-date SDS (MSDS) records. This Consistent attention to detail reflects our commitment to being Responsible leaders in safety.

Maintain High Expectations for yourself by attending required training and maintaining certifications. Be an Innovator by staying Curious and utilizing the latest certified renovator practices.

Collaborative Teamwork :

Remain Responsive to the evolving needs of the Agency, performing other duties as assigned by the Director with an Open mind and a commitment to Fair and ethical conduct. Other Other duties as assigned. Requires frequent travel to off-site locations.

WORKING CONDIT I ONS

: Work is conducted in a moderate-paced environment focused on providing a safe, comfortable environment for low-to-moderate income homes. Requires the physical strength to lift 85 pounds and move heavy loads. Must be adaptable to various weather conditions, airborne particles, and working in confined or inaccessible areas. This position requires frequent travel to off-site locations.

Director of Facilities & Maintenance, Maintenance Supervisor Supervises:

None Assigned Coordinates with: Division Directors, Center Directors and Project Managers

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

High school diploma/GED plus completion of building trades vocational training and 3 years of full-time experience (additional experience may substitute for education). Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe, insurable driving record. A natural Leader who can direct and work with diverse groups of people with No Judgment and Respect Always. Must possess no non-qualifying physical requirements for the tasks listed above.
