Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be able to perform various maintenance tasks effectively. A commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial for success in this position. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as an ohmmeter. Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities. Fabricate parts or components as required for repairs or improvements. Supervise and provide leadership to maintenance staff during projects or repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance roles with mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred. Ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter effectively. Skills in welding and fabrication are advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience in residential painting is a plus. Leadership qualities with experience supervising teams is desirable. Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
