Position Summary The Maintenance Person is responsible for keeping the hotel, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment in safe, clean, and working condition. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, able to troubleshoot problems, and takes pride in maintaining a comfortable environment for our guests and employees. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel Repair or replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, and other basic fixtures Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs Maintain and repair doors, locks, furniture, and other hotel equipment Inspect guest rooms and public areas for maintenance issues Respond to maintenance requests from the front desk and management Complete preventive maintenance throughout the property Assist with heating, air-conditioning, and other mechanical systems Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized Maintain the hotel grounds and exterior areas as needed Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies Maintaining pool and spa Report major problems or repairs requiring outside contractors to management Help ensure the hotel meets cleanliness, safety, and appearance standards Qualifications Previous hotel, building, apartment, or general maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and punctuality Good communication and customer-service skills Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance tasks Must be able to respond professionally and courteously to guest concerns Valid driver's license preferred

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
