Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Worker / Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining buildings, equipment, grounds, and roadways to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment. Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. Inspect facilities and identify maintenance needs. Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, landscaping, leaf removal, and snow removal as needed. Operate Bobcat equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and loaders, for maintenance and construction projects. Perform drainage work, including excavating existing culverts, installing new culverts, placing riprap for erosion control, and establishing proper grades and drainage. Maintain dirt roads using a soil conditioner, skid steer, and roller, including establishing and maintaining proper road grades and crowns for effective drainage. Empty garbage cans and dispose of waste properly. Perform general janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms and common areas. Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Keep maintenance records and report completed work.
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance and/or janitorial experience preferred. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds maintenance. Experience operating Bobcat equipment , including excavators, skid steers, and loaders . Experience performing drainage work, including excavating existing culverts, installing new culverts, placing riprap for erosion control, and establishing proper grades and drainage. Experience maintaining dirt roads using a soil conditioner, skid steer, and roller , including establishing and maintaining proper road grades and crowns for effective drainage. Ability to operate hand and power tools, lawn equipment, and other maintenance equipment safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license.
