Job Description

Job Overview:
The condominium Association is seeking a reliable, proactive Part-Time Building Superintendent to manage the general upkeep, safety, and operational readiness of our mixed use condominium building. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming environment for residents.
General Responsibilities Daily Property Upkeep:
Maintain cleanliness and safety in all common areas, hallways, entryways, utility rooms, and exterior walkways.
Waste Management:
Oversee the property's trash and recycling systems, ensuring regular sorting and sanitation of waste facilities.
Safety & Compliance Monitoring:
Conduct regular walkthroughs to test safety systems.
Preventative Oversight:
Visually inspect plumbing, mechanical spaces, and roofing structures to catch, log, and report maintenance needs early.
Seasonal Property Care:
Manage minor outdoor landscaping tidiness and basic winter snow or ice clearing at main access points.
Association Projects:
Execute targeted maintenance, improvement, or repair projects as deemed necessary and assigned by the condominium association board. Qualifications Previous experience in general building maintenance, property caretaking, or residential handyperson roles. Strong communication skills to coordinate smoothly with building owners and residents. Basic digital proficiency , specifically the ability to effectively send and receive updates via email and texting . Proactive eye for facility safety hazards and the ability to work independently. Capable of performing light physical labor (such as handling trash bins or basic seasonal snow clearing).
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
