This pivotal role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Duties Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely and effective repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Oversee the repair and maintenance of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in accordance with OSHA safety regulations. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets effectively. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for maintenance staff. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance using CMMS software. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for facilities management that improve efficiency while reducing costs. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams. Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting, and mechanical systems repair. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to industrial equipment. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for engineering troubleshooting. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial environments. Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities and managing facilities operations efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Leadership qualities with experience managing facilities maintenance teams in manufacturing or industrial settings. Ability to perform HVAC system repair including troubleshooting compressors, fans, filters, ductwork; electrical experience related to high voltage/low voltage systems; plumbing system maintenance; electrical troubleshooting; and general facilities management tasks.
