$2,500 Position Summary NHC Farragut is seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the upkeep and functionality of our campus grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure a safe, beautiful, and efficient environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities Include:

Heavy-duty cleaning, groundskeeping, and light equipment maintenance Lawn care: mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, and planting Pest and disease control for plants, flowers, and shrubs Snow removal, landscaping, and general outdoor maintenance Inspection and maintenance of institutional equipment and vehicles Coordination with other departments to minimize disruption to operations Emergency on-call availability Transporting supplies, handling deliveries, and moving heavy furniture Routine safety checks and compliance inspections Other duties as assigned by the

Administrator Qualifications:

Preferred:

Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or custodial services Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate maintenance equipment Must be reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team Must be available for emergency on-call duties as needed
