Responsibilities Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and planting bed maintenance to enhance curb appeal. Maintain and repair outdoor structures like hardscapes, pathways, fences, and other hardscape features. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting schedules to ensure healthy plant growth. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pesticide management, plant identification, fertilization, and pest control to promote healthy vegetation. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various groundskeeping and landscaping equipment confidently. Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and lawn care equipment. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification, pruning techniques, and soil management. Ability to manage pesticide application responsibly following safety guidelines. Familiarity with tree care practices such as trimming, planting, and health assessment. Excellent understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation.
