Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment. Handle various chemical agents safely for sanitation and disinfection purposes following all chemical handling safety procedures Conduct heavy lifting tasks involving supplies, equipment, or waste removal while adhering to safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of facilities by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal in accordance with established safety protocols Operate custodial equipment including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers to ensure optimal floor care and overall facility maintenance Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as residential painting or light repairs to support facility upkeep Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow all chemical handling safety procedures Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety protocol adherence Excellent attention to detail for sanitation standards and facility cleanliness Good communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs or custodial responsibilities Must be able to operate a forklift safely Join us in creating clean, safe environments that make a difference every day!
