Sterling Personnel, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Maintenance for an apartment complex facility. This role is offered as an open-ended temporary opportunity that has the potential to turn into a long-term position based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

Report to the Property Manager and Lead Service technician and work with property management to prioritize and complete make-ready tasks. Monitor and report inventory needs for supplies and equipment Replace or repair fixtures, appliances, flooring, and hardware as needed. Performs and/or assists with carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties as required Installs appliances and electrical fixtures as required Moves appliances, with assistance, using appliance dolly Installs, repairs and rekeys deadbolt locks Reports any maintenance problems Assists with resident functions as required Maintains courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc. Complete grounds work such as grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping Minor pool maintenance may be required Completes check lists in a timely manner to ensure units are ready for new residents move-in date

Qualifications:

Must have at least a minimal 3 year of Make Ready experience Must have strong communication skills to be able to understand and follow directions Must have knowledge of general maintenance such as painting, plumbing, carpentry and general grounds care Must be prompt, on time to work and have good, regular attendance Availability to work weekends while maintaining a flexible weekday schedule Must be able to pass background and drug screening #BBL
