This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys fixing things, and has experience with general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, construction, or similar trades. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the marina Troubleshoot and complete basic electrical repairs, including outlets, lighting, switches, and other marina equipment Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance Complete carpentry, painting, construction, and general handyman projects Repair and maintain docks, decking, railings, gates, and other marina structures Inspect equipment and facilities for maintenance or safety concerns Assist with pumps, water lines, electrical systems, and other marina-related equipment Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Help coordinate larger repairs with outside contractors and vendors when necessary Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner Assist with other property and facility projects as needed Qualifications Previous experience in maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, contracting, or general handyman work preferred Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Comfortable working with hand and power tools Ability to identify problems and determine practical solutions Self-motivated and able to work independently Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable working outdoors and around water Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods Must understand when a project requires a licensed professional or outside contractor Marina or boating experience is a plus but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for a jack-of-all-trades who takes pride in their work and can see a problem and help find a solution.
