Full-Time, Onsite Opportunity Overview An established manufacturing organization is seeking a highly organized Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance planning, scheduling, parts management, and equipment-reliability initiatives at a high-volume production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience as a maintenance planner, maintenance scheduler, parts coordinator, CMMS administrator, or maintenance storeroom professional who enjoys bringing structure and organization to a fast-paced operation. The Maintenance Coordinator will help ensure planned work is properly scheduled, technicians have the materials and information needed to complete assignments, and maintenance records remain accurate and current. This individual will work closely with maintenance technicians, production leaders, suppliers, and outside service providers to improve equipment availability and reduce unplanned downtime. What You Will DoMaintenance Planning and Coordination Plan and schedule preventive, corrective, and facility-maintenance activities. Review incoming work requests and help establish priorities based on operational needs and equipment criticality. Coordinate maintenance schedules with production and other departments. Confirm that parts, tools, procedures, permits, and other resources are available before work begins. Support weekly maintenance planning and scheduling meetings. Assist with the coordination of planned shutdowns, equipment repairs, and facility projects. Monitor open work orders and follow up on overdue or incomplete assignments. Help improve job plans, maintenance procedures, and preventive-maintenance frequencies. CMMS and Work-Order Administration Create, update, and close work orders within the maintenance-management system. Maintain accurate equipment, asset, labor, parts, and maintenance-history records. Build and update preventive-maintenance tasks and recurring schedules. Apply appropriate work-order and equipment classifications to support reporting and analysis. Monitor preventive-maintenance completion, work-order backlog, and schedule compliance. Identify opportunities to improve CMMS data accuracy and system use. Prepare maintenance activity reports and performance updates for leadership. Parts and Storeroom Support Maintain accurate records for maintenance parts, tools, and supplies. Establish and monitor minimum and maximum stocking levels. Track parts usage, orders, returns, and replenishment needs. Conduct cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies. Receive, label, organize, and store incoming maintenance materials. Help identify and maintain appropriate levels of critical spare parts. Maintain required specifications and supporting documentation for parts used in the facility. Ensure required materials are staged and available before scheduled maintenance begins. Purchasing and Vendor Coordination Obtain quotes and place orders for maintenance parts, supplies, and services. Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation. Track outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers regarding delivery dates. Review invoices and resolve discrepancies as needed. Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and service providers. Coordinate outside contractors and service appointments. Ensure vendors and contractors follow site safety, quality, and operating requirements. What We Are Looking For At least two years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, maintenance support, inventory control, or a related environment. Previous experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, parts coordination, purchasing, or CMMS administration preferred. Experience supporting preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Familiarity with work orders, spare-parts inventory, and equipment records. Experience with a CMMS, ERP, inventory-management system, or similar software. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. High school diploma or GED required. Additional technical, maintenance, supply-chain, or business training is a plus. Experience in food, beverage, consumer products, pharmaceutical, packaging, or another regulated manufacturing environment is helpful but not required. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
