Property and estate manager Pierpont management Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $75,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Construction painting Driver's License Purchasing Property management Full Job Description About the Position We are looking for a highly capable, dependable, and self-motivated person to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of a small portfolio of properties in the Salt Lake area. The properties include several industrial/commercial buildings, residential rental properties, and a private residence in Holladay. This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone who enjoys fixing things, working outdoors, maintaining properties, and taking ownership of problems from start to finish. The right person will be someone who notices what needs to be done and takes care of it without needing constant direction. Responsibilities General maintenance and repairs at commercial and residential properties Regularly inspect properties and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems Basic plumbing repairs Basic electrical repairs Minor carpentry and drywall work Painting and touch-up work Door, lock, hardware, and fixture repairs Troubleshoot building and mechanical issues Change filters and perform routine preventative maintenance Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other contractors when specialized work is required Handle maintenance requests at residential rental properties Maintain the grounds at a private residence in Holladay Mowing, trimming, blowing, weeding, and general yard upkeep Monitor and make basic repairs/adjustments to irrigation systems Seasonal property cleanup Light snow removal Maintain tools and equipment Purchase and pick up maintenance materials and supplies as needed Keep properties clean, organized, safe, and well maintained We will continue to use specialized contractors and occasional landscaping crews for larger projects. This position is not expected to perform every trade or every major landscaping project personally. What We're Looking For Strong general maintenance and handyman skills Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting problems Experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, landscaping, or a related field Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Able to work independently and manage priorities across multiple properties Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Good judgment about what can be repaired personally and when a professional contractor should be called Comfortable coordinating and supervising outside vendors Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to perform the physical requirements of property and yard maintenance Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, carpentry, construction, or equipment maintenance is a significant plus.
