Approximately 30 hours per week, 4 days. Days and hours vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary:

$15-18.40/hour based on experience.

Overview:

Work on one of the last working farms in Fairfax County! Frying Pan Farm Park is searching for Maintenance Workers to join their team.

Duties:

Performs routine maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping tasks. Mows, string trims, rakes, waters, and weeds the grounds at Frying Pan. Sweeps, mops, and disinfects floors in buildings. Cleans and disinfects site restrooms, to include walls, floors, and bathroom fixtures. Empties trash receptacles and picks up litter throughout the park. Assists with equestrian activities, i.e.: cleaning horse stalls and helping with shows. Light carpentry and fence repairs. Assist with event prep, set-up and disassembly. All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience maintaining buildings and grounds preferred. Must be eligible to work in Virginia, possess a Social Security card, and have access to reliable transportation. Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds and able to conduct basic conversation in English. Self-motivated.
