Prince William Marina is a premier destination offering a diverse range of services including boat sales and maintenance. Situated on a stunning 14-acre property featuring an 1800 ft boardwalk connecting 12 floating docks with over 250 slips, our marina also boasts a dry land storage facility known as the "boatel," capable of accommodating over 250 boats. We take pride in our commitment to excellence and are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Marina Maintenance Assistant.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the overall aesthetics of the property, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness. Collect trash from designated areas and ensure proper disposal. Remove logs and debris from dock areas to ensure safety and accessibility. Perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks as needed. Assist in blocking boats on the lot and fueling boats at the fuel dock. Replace worn-out flags around the property to uphold our visual standards. Engage in painting and basic carpentry tasks to enhance the appearance of the marina. Provide assistance to other employees when required. Lift objects weighing up to and over 50lbs as necessary.

Requirements:

Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical work. Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather year-round . Comfortable working around and over water. Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs easily. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks. Possession of a valid driver's license.

Schedule & Pay:

Work week is Tuesday-Sunday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Mondays are off, plus one other weekday (or potentially Saturday, depending on scheduling).

Starting pay:

$18/hour .

Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the Marina Maintenance Manager and Service Manager.
