Job Description

CREW PERSON / ROAD WORKER
The Town of Seymour, Eau Claire County (population 3,400), is seeking a motivated individual to join our Roads Department. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community. Under the direction of the Road Crew Supervisor, the Crew Person/Road Worker performs a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair duties related to town roads, rights-of-way, equipment, and town-owned property.
General Duties and Abilities:
Construct and maintain town roads and rights-of-way Repair and replace pipes and culverts Patch and repair road surfaces Assist with bridge repair and maintenance projects Maintain and service tools, equipment, and vehicles Clear brush and vegetation as needed Work weekends when necessary for snow removal and emergency road repairs Assist with the maintenance and repair of town buildings, grounds, and other property Perform other related duties as assigned Work 40 hours (four and one-half days) per week, additional hours as required.
Eligible for:
vacation, paid holidays, personal leave, and WI Retirement System (WRS). Full-time Position Description available by request.
