Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Staff member to support the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, appearance, and operational efficiency of our building and equipment. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and grow in their skills, with opportunities for training in areas such as making rollers, repairing lights and equipment, and assisting with interior building maintenance. Working closely with your supervisor as a helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance of facilities equipment to ensure proper operation and safety. Use hand tools effectively for various repair and maintenance tasks. Assist with carpentry projects, including repairs and minor construction work. Conduct interior building maintenance, including painting and general upkeep. Support the repair and making of rollers, lights, and other equipment as needed. Work alongside your supervisor as a helper, gaining hands-on experience in maintenance procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Experience Previous experience in facility or building maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right individual. Basic knowledge of hand tools, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks is advantageous. Willingness to learn new skills such as repairing lights, rollers, and other equipment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 56.0 per week
