Join us! As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will make a meaningful impact by ensuring our facilities operate smoothly while fostering a safe environment for all. Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to lead our facilities maintenance efforts. In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our organization. You will manage maintenance teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and implement effective maintenance procedures to keep our facilities safe, functional, and efficient. Your leadership will help foster a safe environment that supports our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities. Duties Coordinate and oversee preventive and routine maintenance for buildings, grounds, and facility systems. Manage the organization's vehicle fleet, including inventory, maintenance scheduling, inspections, repairs, registrations, and service records. Coordinate parking operations and ensure efficient use of organizational parking resources. Perform and coordinate general building maintenance, including painting, light plumbing, HVAC system upkeep, and minor repairs. Monitor facility conditions and identify maintenance needs to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment. Assist with preventive maintenance planning and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed. Provide maintenance and logistical support for organizational staff, programs, and special events. Perform routine grounds and plant maintenance to maintain the appearance and functionality of the property. Safely operate organizational vehicles to transport clients, staff, or materials as assigned. Coordinate and deliver monthly food boxes and other program-related supplies to designated locations. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inventories. Ensure compliance with organizational safety policies and applicable maintenance standards. Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience coordinating general building maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping operations for a large multi-story facility. Hands-on familiarity with routine building upkeep, including basic plumbing, lighting/electrical fixtures, HVAC oversight, and general carpentry and other types of building repairs. Ability to work with third-party contractors when needed and independently execute minor facility improvement projects at the direction of the Chief Executive Officer. Working knowledge of general workplace safety standards and regulations applicable to commercial building operations. Proven ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and third-party partners while reporting directly to executive leadership. Ability to work on-call as needed.
