AL ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary objective of this position is to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Amrize maintenanceworkforce, service companies & contractors by managing complex maintenance projects in a timely fashion.

The position will create complex and large scale maintenance projects and deliver them to employees withdetailed job plans, including technical specifications, machinery history, parts and tools lists, and safetyprocedures in a very organized fashion. As well as by working with team members and individually to revieweach work order and job site to insure that the work is reasonable and valid, that no influencing constraintsare present and that all the preparatory works are performed before job scheduling.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all workenvironments and areas.
• The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for the implementation of more complex and larger scale plansin the Amrize Maintenance Management System (MMS) - e.g., MAC/SAP in all aspects of maintenanceactivities. From work identification through planning, scheduling and execution, working with otherplanners to divide work out appropriately.
• The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for the accuracy and continuous updating of maintenancemaster data - part numbers, bills of materials, work order history, etc. within the MaintenanceManagement System and partnering with the Maintenance Manager to identify and reconcile anydiscrepancies
• The Maintenance Planner II is responsible to ensure the equipment maintenance strategy for predictiveand preventative maintenance, repair and annual maintenance, as established by the MaintenanceManager, is realized in the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plan.

The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for adding pertinent information to work orders, as required, tofacilitate the comprehension of the execution team. This includes defining a clearly the scope of work tobe performed, establishing the preparatory work required prior to scheduled equipment down time,developing a detailed job plan with all the work sequences involved to adequately complete the repairs,as well as equipment downtime and work-hours required, including partnering with other planners toresolve issues and identify opportunities.

The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for determining the cost involved for parts and supplies foreach work order and ensuring that such costs are communicated and forecasted accurately tomaintenance management.

The Maintenance Planner II will work closely with procurement and warehousing to ensure that all non-stock parts and materials as required by the job plan.

The Maintenance Planner II will lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting formaintenance spending.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

The Maintenance Planner II reports to the Maintenance Manager who reports to the Plant Manager.

This position also serves as a sounding board for other Maintenace Planners in growing their experienceand skills.

Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of required experience or at least 8 years of equivalentexperience with HS Diploma / GED.
