$30.00 - $34.00/hour Your Contribution to Our Success We are looking for a meticulous CMMS Maintenance Planner to help manage our bustling, automated distribution center. This position is a perfect fit for individuals skilled in maintenance scheduling, CMMS oversight, MRO inventory control, procurement, and the coordination of preventive maintenance tasks. In this capacity, you will ensure that our technical teams are equipped with the necessary plans, components, and resources to optimize equipment performance and facility uptime. Your proficiency in managing CMMS data, organizing maintenance workflows, overseeing vendor partnerships, and controlling MRO inventory will be vital to our ongoing operational achievements. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Organize, schedule, and oversee both routine and corrective maintenance tasks within the CMMS. Collaborate with Maintenance leadership to establish priorities for essential repair work. Create comprehensive work packages and component kits to help the team complete tasks more efficiently. Monitor the status of work orders to ensure all maintenance activities are properly recorded. Manage labor scheduling to improve overall productivity and help keep equipment running smoothly. CMMS Administration Maintain precise records for assets, inventory, PM schedules, procurement, and work orders. Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all data within the maintenance management platform. Manage and update information regarding locations, job plans, equipment history, and spare parts. Produce maintenance reports to provide actionable insights for the management team. Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts by maintaining system data and accurate reporting. MRO Inventory & Spare Parts Management Oversee the maintenance storeroom, including the ordering, receiving, issuing, and auditing of parts. Ensure that critical spares and operational supplies are stocked at appropriate levels. Enhance the organization and storage methods used for inventory. Monitor warranty status for parts and seek out alternative sourcing options. Support technicians by ensuring they have the parts required to finish scheduled tasks on time. Vendor & Purchasing Management Generate and supervise purchase orders for maintenance-related parts and services. Liaise with outside vendors and contractors for both routine and urgent repair needs. Address and resolve any discrepancies in invoices to ensure payments are processed promptly. Cultivate strong supplier partnerships to guarantee the consistent availability of essential parts and services. Required Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience in Maintenance Planning, Scheduling, CMMS Administration, MRO Inventory, or related coordination roles. Background in supporting maintenance functions within industrial, warehouse, or distribution environments. Practical experience with work order systems and the management of preventive maintenance programs. Solid understanding of how CMMS platforms function and their role in maintenance processes. Experience in managing spare parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relations. Strong analytical and organizational abilities to help solve complex operational problems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Capacity to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Must successfully complete assessments for Word, Excel, and Math Aptitude. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Dematic Sprocket or similar CMMS software. Background in supporting automated material handling equipment (MHE). Familiarity with distribution center equipment, including sortation systems and conveyors. Knowledge of best practices for inventory control and maintenance reliability. Previous experience in highly automated distribution or warehouse settings.
