Weekend Maintenance Supervisor Location:
Bakersfield, CA | 90,000-98,000 Base Salary + Bonus Adecco's Permanent Placement team is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Bakersfield, CA to identify an experienced Weekend Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across a four-day weekend schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys working closely with technicians, production, and operations to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. Schedule Friday - Monday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM What You'll Do Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians supporting daily manufacturing operations. Oversee troubleshooting and repairs involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment . Assist technicians with diagnosing equipment failures and developing effective repair solutions. Coordinate installation, fabrication, dismantling, assembly, and modification of industrial machinery. Oversee building, facility, and grounds maintenance activities. Partner with Purchasing to maintain appropriate spare parts and maintenance inventory . Support plant safety initiatives and ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies and safety requirements. Review production schedules and allocate maintenance resources to support production needs. Interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment documentation to assign work and troubleshoot issues. Make adjustments to maintenance procedures and priorities to meet production deadlines. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, quality, and operating conditions . Lead team problem-solving and help resolve maintenance-related issues. Coach, motivate, and develop maintenance personnel to achieve performance and productivity goals. Maintain accurate maintenance, timekeeping, and production records. Collaborate with Production, Operations, Purchasing, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities. Remain hands-on and assist with maintenance repairs and troubleshooting when needed. Communicate regularly with the Maintenance Senior Manager regarding maintenance activities, priorities, and equipment issues. What We're Looking For Previous experience supervising or leading an industrial maintenance team . Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, controls, and industrial machinery . Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints . Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a hands-on maintenance leadership role .
Pay Details:
