Northland Process Piping, Inc. is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to oversee daily operations at our Lemoore, California fabrication shop. This is a full-time position for an experienced journeyman with strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of TIG welding and sanitary stainless process-piping fabrication. The Shop Foreman will coordinate shop production, supervise welders and fabricators, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide daily direction to shop welders and fabricators
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor shop production and work schedules
• Assign work based on project priorities, employee skills, and deadlines
• Oversee the fabrication of sanitary stainless process-piping systems
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and piping isometrics
• Monitor workmanship to ensure company and customer quality standards are met
• Inspect fabricated components and completed work for accuracy and quality
• Coordinate material requirements and verify that materials are available for scheduled projects
• Oversee the proper use, care, and maintenance of shop tools and equipment
• Help troubleshoot fabrication, welding, and production issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and proper work practices
• Track project progress and communicate production updates to management
• Coordinate with project managers and other departments as needed
• Train, mentor, and support shop employees
• Assist with hands-on welding and fabrication when necessary Qualifications
• Experienced journeyman welder/fabricator
• Previous shop-foreman, supervisory, or leadership experience required
• Strong TIG-welding experience
• Experience with sanitary stainless process piping and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and piping isometrics
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods, welding procedures, and quality standards
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with employees, project managers, and customers
• Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Willingness to work overtime when project schedules require it
• Ability to travel or perform occasional fieldwork as needed Position Details
