Job Summary:
The purpose of the Maintenance Planner & Stores Clerk is to support operational goals and KPI's for tissue converting productivity, quality and safety at the facility. This position is responsible for the scheduling and planning of maintenance and preventative maintenance activities, and to ensure that spare parts are on hand in sufficient quantities at the time the parts are needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:
- Administer the SAP S4 Hana to prioritize, plan, and schedule maintenance work efficiently while minimizing maintenance cost and equipment downtime.
- Review all submitted work orders and SAP generated work orders to determine scope and best methods to accomplish the work. Identifies and obtains materials, tools, required permits, documentation and equipment access as required. Consults with the requester, maintenance supervisor, engineers or maintenance technicians as required.
- Stage work and documentation for planned maintenance work.
- Carry out job responsibilities in a safe manner. Ensures employee safety needs are given a top priority in work planning and scheduling. Ensure maintenance activities meet safety codes, requirements for personal safety protection, safety policies and guidelines.
- Work with Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Leads, Shift Supervisors and Engineers to prioritize work and ensure maintenance resource allocation for maintenance downs.
- Ensure completed work orders are returned promptly and entered into SAP.
- Complete MDG for new parts to be ordered with SAP part number.
- Generates a PR in SAP for existing parts to be reordered.
- Generates an SAP Reorder report on a weekly basis for review and parts reordering.
- Generate a mid month and monthly report on part consumption for the Accounting Department
- Set up and maintain storage locations.
- Conducts periodic physical inventories
- Ensures that spare parts are on hand in sufficient quantities at the time needed in the assigned locations
- Create PRs for facility
- Receives in POs for facility/maintenance when needed. GRs
- Other duties as assigned

- Reports to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager
- Works closely with
Maintenance Leaders, Project Leaders, Maintenance Engineers, Stores, Production Schedulers and Maintenance Technicians External:
- Works with Outside vendors/contractors in support of maintenance activities
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Background:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance and maintenance planning role
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of SAP systems, work order systems and related systems/software
- Knowledge of spare parts systems and parts ordering
- Knowledge of work management processes, labor estimating, resource balancing
- Good working knowledge of facilities and industrial equipment and O&M requirements
- Understanding of OSHA safety requirements, practices and procedures
- Knowledge of skilled trades, equipment fabrication, electricity and electronics, mechanics, PLC's, machine drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing and pipe fitting
- Organizational skills, attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand machine drawings and /or schematic diagrams.
- Technical writing ability.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Computer literacy, competency with MS Excel and MS Word Cycle Counting
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

- Must be able to sit, bend, stand and walk during scheduled shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to work 8 - 12-hour shifts
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
